Your Laser Aesthetics Consultation: What to Expect

Learn what to bring, what we discuss and how to consider your options at a complimentary Laser Aesthetics consultation in Burlington.

BOTOX COSMETIC® at Laser Aesthetics in Burlington

People sometimes hesitate to book a consultation because they assume it means committing to a treatment that day. It does not. A consultation is simply the conversation where we figure out, together, whether a treatment makes sense for you at all, and if it does, what that would actually involve.

Before you even sit in the chair

Our consultation includes a discussion of your goals and health history. Bring details of medicines, skincare and previous cosmetic treatments so the clinical team has the information needed to consider appropriate options. Ask when and how to share sensitive information.

You do not need to choose a product before visiting Laser Aesthetics. Describe the concern in your own words, explain what prompted you to seek advice and say what would make a result feel right for you. The consultation is also a place to discuss reasons for waiting or having no treatment.

The examination itself

Different concerns lead to different assessments. An injectable consultation may consider facial movement and volume, while a laser consultation considers the treatment area and skin. The Laser Aesthetics team page explains staff roles; ask who would be involved in your proposed treatment.

Ask the clinician to explain what the recommended option can realistically address, its limitations and the alternatives. At Laser Aesthetics, the complimentary consultation gives you an opportunity to understand those trade-offs without an obligation to proceed.

Leave understanding your options

Before deciding, ask about the proposed treatment, likely number of visits, recovery and follow-up. You can take time to consider the recommendation. Clarify what would happen next if you choose to proceed, including how an appointment is confirmed, rather than feeling you need to settle every decision during the consultation.

If cost is part of your decision making, that is also discussed openly, including anything relevant like the BOTOX COSMETIC membership or any current offers that might apply to what you are considering.

Questions patients ask

Is the consultation free?

Yes, the consultation itself does not cost anything, and there is no obligation to book a treatment afterward. It exists so you can make an informed decision without pressure.

Do I need to know exactly what treatment I want before booking?

Not at all. Many patients come in only knowing something bothers them without knowing the name of a treatment. Part of the consultation is figuring that out together based on what you describe and what we see.

Will I see Susan or Carolyn specifically?

It depends on what you are asking about. Susan handles injectable consultations such as BOTOX COSMETIC and dermal fillers, while Carolyn handles laser based treatments. Sharin can help direct your booking appropriately.
