Laser Vein Therapy
Laser Vein Therapy uses a focused beam of light to gently heat and eliminate targeted blood vessels — causing them to gradually fade and disappear. A great needle-free alternative to Sclerotherapy, and an effective complement for comprehensive vein treatment.
How Laser Vein Therapy Works
A focused beam of light is directed at the affected blood vessel. The laser energy heats and collapses the vessel wall, causing it to gradually fade. There are two types of laser vein treatment available:
Simple Laser Vein Treatment
Performed externally on the skin surface — no needles or incisions. Ideal for spider veins and small varicose veins close to the skin. Multiple sessions are typically scheduled every 6–12 weeks.
You can walk immediately after and resume regular activities the same day.
Endovenous Laser Treatment
Designed for larger varicose veins in the legs. A laser fiber is passed through a thin catheter into the affected vein, monitored via duplex ultrasound. Local anesthesia is used for comfort.
Compression stockings are worn for approximately one week. A follow-up ultrasound confirms the vein is properly sealed. Significantly less painful than traditional vein stripping surgery with a much shorter recovery period.
Recovery & Side Effects
Simple laser: walk immediately, resume activities same day. Endovenous: compression stockings for ~1 week, follow-up ultrasound scheduled.
Minor temporary side effects may include redness, swelling, or skin discoloration. Serious complications are uncommon under qualified medical care.
