• Do not apply moisturizers or lotions on the day of treatment
• Avoid direct sun exposure, self-tanners, and tanning beds for 4 weeks prior

• Let your nurse know if you have had recent sun exposure — your treatment plan can be adjusted

• You may experience slight redness and warmth (like a mild sunburn) — this typically fades within a few hours
• Resume normal activities immediately
• Avoid hot tubs, Jacuzzis, saunas, and very hot baths for 24 hours
• Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen to treated areas
